We are excited to announce a collaboration between two of South Africa's most esteemed jazz legends – Abdullah Ibrahim and Hugh Masekela. After years in exile and liberated South Africa it is only now, for the first time in almost 60 years that these two iconic jazz instrumentalists, icons and South African global jazz ambassadors, both founding members of the legendary Jazz Epistles, the first all-black jazz group in South Africa back in the 1960s, Abdullah Ibrahim and Hugh Masekela will now reunite and perform on one stage with a new concert program honoring this historic group in Europe in 2017.
